Texts by Panos Theodoridis.
English translation by Cox and Solman.
Macedonia is a blessed land, with fertile soil and abundant water, with a population vigorous in ideas and ever-flourishing in time. Here, the archaeological sites, the meadows, the lakes, the rivers, the sea, the villages and towns make up landscapes where history and the present day blend smoothly together, where memories and lives are of equal fascination. What the traveller ultimately comes to see is that Macedonia, now and for ever, is a place that hums with life, not a field of ruins.
