A very important tribute to Greece's great composer, Mikis Theodorakis, contributing in this manner to the celebration of 80 years of offer of this insatiable creator, not only to culture and to music, but also in the struggles of our nation.
After the book, in a luxurius print, this album consists of 3 CDs which include the following:
• CD 1 : Zorba the Greek (music from the film)
• CD 2: Songs of the Struggle -Arcadia IV
• CD 3: Iphigenia (music from the film)
And a DVD which is divided in two thematic sections: Mikis Theodorakis' musical achievements as well as his political struggle for democracy.

His life, work and inspiring personality are depicted though the beloved notes of his music and the speeches both of Mikis himself and other important personalities of politics, music and art in general. The poetic speech of another great personality, who marked Greek writings and Greek poetry, Odysseas Elitis, is also an important element of the film. The DVD also contains rare material from concerts and films.
In the first part, titled "The Poetic Scheme", the poetic speech, Mikis' tribute to Odysseas Elitis, begins with the interpreter Dimitris Lignadis. The composer's interest is focused on the great value and necessity of poetry. Mikis Theodorakis will refer to his personal relation with great Greek and foreign poets, such as: Kalvos, Solomos, Elitis, Ritsos, Seferis, Sikelianos, Kavafis, Eleftheriou, Anagnostakis, Lorka , Nerouda and others.
In the second part, titled "The Revolution", the music cycles, which have been composed by Mikis, from the mid-1960s, will be examined.
The composer talks, among others, about the Beatles generation, the assassination of Grigoris Lambrakis, his own exile to Zatouna, and about Chile and Nerouda.
