Asterias 3 is divided in three big Units. The first unit describes the everyday life with the various activities at home, at school, in town etc. The second unit describes the entertainment available to a child by making references to parties, cinema, takeaway food, the circus etc. The third unit makes references to medical issues, the visits to the doctor and to the dentist, the feelings of fear etc. In Asterias 3 the basic grammar of the Greek language is completed. Each grammatical phenomenon is presented first in a communicative framework (dialogues, the texts and the songs) and afterwards it is isolated and presented by means of grammar tables. The approach used to layout the grammar section is conducted in a way that stimulates the child's observation. At the end of the fourth book all the grammar that has been taught in the first three books is presented in order with short exercises on every grammatical phenomenon.
